We are delighted to provide you with a complimentary free month to the brand new Krotos Studio subscription plan, which will enable you to explore the enormous new library totalling over 100 sound categories.
Follow the steps below to see how to redeem your free one-month subscription to Krotos Studio!
Step 1: Update to the Latest Version of Krotos Studio
This update is required to redeem your free month of the expansive new library. Simply launch Krotos Studio, and when prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to update to the new version. If you don't see the update notification, you can go to “Check For Updates'' from the menu within the application.
Step 2: Log in to Krotos Studio
Once you have installed the latest update, launch Krotos Studio again and you will see the new ‘Log In’ window, which is now mandatory for using Krotos Studio. Simply log in using the existing details for your Krotos account.
Forgot Your Password? Reset it with these steps
1. Click ‘Forgot Password? Reset it here’ below the email and password fields on the Krotos Studio interface.
This will take you to the new https://krotos.studio/ website where you can request a password reset.
2. Enter your email address, then click ‘Reset my Password’.
You will be notified that an email has been sent to your email address.
3. Head to your email inbox and click the link inside the email you received to reset your password
This will take you to a password reset window at the krotos.studio website.
4. Enter a new password, then press ‘change password’ to accept your changes
Once done, head back to the Log In window and enter your new email and password to carry on with the process.
Step 3: The Welcome Screen
Once logged in, you will be greeted with a welcome screen, prompting you to ‘Continue’ or ‘Subscribe Now’:
By continuing, you will simply be able to access all of your Genesis presets as normal. To access your free month, click ‘Subscribe Now’ to be taken to the new krotos.studio website.
Step 4: Accessing your Free One-Month Subscription
Log in using the existing details for your Krotos account. Once Signed in you will be greeted with a screen which displays the three subscription tiers; Krotos Studio Free, Krotos Studio Monthly, and Krotos Studio Annual:
By clicking on the monthly ‘$14.99/mo’ tier, a coupon will be automatically applied, discounting the value of the monthly subscription for one month, leaving your balance at $0.00:
By clicking on the annual ‘$119.88/ye’ tier, a coupon will be automatically applied, discounting the value of the annual subscription by one month.
Note: You will need to pay the remaining value of the yearly subscription should you choose this option.
Click 'Proceed to Checkout' and enter your billing address and card details. Finally, click 'Subscribe' on the 'Complete your order' screen, and your free month will be activated!
Step 5: Activating your Subscription
Now that your subscription is up and running, it's time to download the new library of sound effects. Click on 'My Account' in the top right corner of the https://krotos.studio/ page, then head to the 'Downloads' tab:
In this window, you will see your Genesis pack, alongside the free version of Krotos Studio, as well as the factory content for the subscription plan. Choose the right download for your operating system (MacOS or Windows), then wait for the library to download.
Once downloaded, launch the installer inside the downloaded folder and follow the steps to install the library. Close Krotos Studio and re-open it to access all the new sound effects available with the subscription.
Your free month has begun!
Step 6: Cancelling your Subscription
To cancel your subscription, head to 'My Account' and then click the subscription tab. You will see your current plan alongside a cancellation button:
Click 'Cancel', then confirm the cancellation on the next screen. Should you cancel by mistake, you can revoke the cancellation by clicking 'Undo Pending Cancel':
Cancellation of Your Subscription
Whilst your subscription is running, you will have full access to the Krotos Studio library. When your free month has ended, your card will be charged for the following month. You can continue to renew your subscription each month to retain access to the library, or you can cancel your subscription at any time.
At the end of your free month, should you wish to cancel and not renew, access to the library will then be restricted. The Genesis sound pack presets will not be restricted.
